Uniforms

Research shows visual cues enable young people living with a range of challenges to know what is going to happen next.  Wearing the same clothes (uniform) shows a child it is a school day, as opposed to a weekend or any other time.

With this research in mind the school has a school uniform.

This also supports a young person’s pathway to a secondary learning setting where a uniform is compulsory.

We are asking families to support their child by outfitting them in the following clothing as soon as it becomes practical to do so.

Summer Uniform (for both girls and boys)

  • Black shorts
  • Light or dark blue polo neck shirt
  • Black velcro shoes (leading toward lace up)

Winter Uniform (for both girls and boys)

  • Black track pants
  • Light or dark blue polo neck shirt
  • Light or dark blue windcheater
  • Black velcro shoes (leading toward lace up)

These items of clothing are often on sale at large chain stores in January pre-school commencing.  However, if you are having any difficulties at all with cost or availability please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
